lenovo yoga 500 not charging

    this problem repeated in this model
    I replace battery but not fix the problem
    replace charging ic bq24780 but not fix it
    I flashed main bios not fix it
    software like the Power Management not fix it
    all measurable components are good ( mosfets - resistors - ... )
    I have two notebooks with the same issue

    please what's yours suggestions?

    NOTE:
    notebook is working will , and working on charged battery ,

    I replace io and fleshed bios over windows but the same ,not charging :(

    with schematic can check all signals and maybe can fix it

    Hello,
    Your problem is complicated...
    I think you have to find components (MOSFET, Capacitor) nearly the battery.
    And try to check that, maybe one component is broken.

    I have found the solution . After PD4403 have an resistor 10 ohm . my resistor was 560 OHM. and BQ 24780 dont have 20V VCC in pin 28 .

    Beautiful and elegant solution. Thank You very much. Worked like a charm straight away. Found the resistor, mine was around 460 Ohm, replaced it with 10 Ohm, charging started immediately. Thank You again.
