Hi guys.. I have a Macbook Air here with a no boot situation. Hope you guys can help. I have tried shinning light on the display but can't see anything in regards to a logo or folder etc.

    What I can see..
Firstly .. Light on charger is green initially then goes orange after about 2 seconds. The fan does start normally but then spins up gradually faster and faster until full speed is attained and it just stays like that. CPU does get warm, approx 25°C

I have tested these main rails which are present.. Although maybe I didn't test them in the correct location so I need help with that just in case... PPBUS_G3H, PP3V3, PP1v8, PP1v2, PP1v5, PP1v05.

    I did notice..

I do not have any voltage 40v output on U7750 even though I do have 3.42v at SMC_LID .. ALthough I'm not sure if this should be present all the time.

Some expert pointers would be appreciated

    Thank you

If the BIOS code just comes straight off the chip with a programmer (like TL866II Plus) I can do that.. But I cannot manipulate the code itself.

The laptop does have a login password.. Will flashing BIOS affect this?

Yes it has a password, the customer (my brothers buddy) supplied it with their laptop on a sticker.

I'm guessing flashing BIOS will erase it? If so can we just add his same password again?

Also will his SSD data still be intact if it boots again?

And what about password.. Can I just use the old (previous one) or do we have to create a new one, or just leave it blank etc?

It was just a query really, as It doesn't really explain what I am buying.. It's my first time doing anything like this on a Macbook repair so I need all the advice I
can get. You have to start somewhere right.

1 .As I already have the password.. are you implying that even with the Password it will still be encrypted in the BIOS file?
    2. Will the tool decrypt the password?
    3. Do I keep the tool once purchased?

    Thank you

yes you can't understand because you ask too many questions.

    1. It is important that you know how to read and write the bios.
send it to me, i will check and guide next

Note: don't be greedy to ask too much.
