    how do u read or write the EC bios? its a embedded flash inside the controller.
    I may have a corrupted EC bios, still finding ways to rewrite the chip. thanks

    EC is embedded controller, there is 128kbytes of memory inside. My yoga 2 pro cannot turn on, with flashing keyboard backlight. i reflashed main bios winbond chip. laptop still dead.
    suspect ec bios could be problem. but i dont know how to flash the embedded controller ( BGA chip is IT8586vq).

    does anyone know how ? thanks
